The calendar has turned to June, which means the start of the most important stretch of the 2026 recruiting cycle.
Official visits are already underway. For most programs, the recently concluded May 30 visit weekend is the most important of the multi-week period. That weekend is often full of each program’s high-priority targets, where a strong first impression can often lead to converted commitments.
Wisconsin’s start to the official visit season displays the first weekend’s importance. The program already has three commitments from its group of visitors — defensive lineman Arthur Scott, linebacker Ben Wenzel and defensive lineman Djidjou Bah. However, since it has yet to land a blue-chip recruit to its growing class of 2026, commitments from top visitors LB McHale Blade, WR Jayden Petit, RB Amari Latimer, OT Kamari Blair and athlete Jackson Ford are paramount.
As we await those players’ decisions, here is an updated look at how Wisconsin’s class of 2026 stacks up compared to the rest of the Big Ten, now into June.
