Chase Chrisley is sharing an update on his parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, following their release from prison.
The Chrisley Knows Best star spoke with Entertainment Tonight about reuniting with his parents after a pardon from President Trump set them free from prison despite being convicted of bank fraud and tax evasion.
“It was a beautiful moment,” Chrisley said of seeing his parents together again. “I don’t think it really hit me until they were both home and I got to see my mom and dad hug each other and embrace each other. We’re all hugging each other and crying. I mean, it was just a beautiful moment and answered prayers for sure. I can’t even describe it like the amount of joy that I felt.”

Chrisley noted that his parents look a little different since their incarceration.
“My mother’s an angel, and she’s still a beautiful woman,” he said. “Her hair’s darker now. I went, ‘Momma, we gotta go back platinum blonde.’ And she was like, ‘I’m not doing that.’”
The reality star also noted that his father has physically transformed.
“My dad is just jacked. He hit the gym hard,” Chrisley said, adding that he thinks his dad will force him to work out, too.
“Unfortunately, I think he’s gonna make me do it with him,” Chrisley said. “I hate the gym. But I will do it, yeah.”
Chrisley said that his parents were overjoyed to see each other again.
“They both just burst into tears, and my dad wrapped his arms around my mom, and I don’t think he’s let go, and I don’t think he’ll ever let go,” he recalled.
The Chrisleys rose to prominence on their USA Network reality series Chrisley Knows Best, which ran from 2014 to 2023. The show was canceled when Todd and Julie were sentenced to a combined 19 years in prison in November 2022, following their 2019 indictment and subsequent 2022 conviction for bank fraud and tax evasion. The couple’s sentences were later reduced in 2023, and Julie Chrisley was resentenced in September 2024.

Trump informed the Chrisley children that he would pardon Todd and Julie after their daughter Savannah said she was seeking a presidential pardon for her parents.
“Your parents are going to be free and clean, and I hope that we can do it by tomorrow,” Trump said in a video posted by White House aide Margo Martin on Tuesday. “I don’t know them, but give them my regards and wish them good luck.”
Some combination of Chrisleys will return to reality TV in the near future in a recently-announced Lifetime series; however, Chase Chrisley told ET that he’s not sure if Todd and Julie will want to be involved in the project.
“It’s too early to tell,” he said. “We’ll have to have a family conversation about that.”
