TV’s royal court of drag entertainers ruled by RuPaul’s Drag Race and The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula is about to get a king-sized shot of adrenaline, as Entertainment Weekly can exclusively reveal the King of Drag cast of contestants set to headline television’s first all-drag-king competition series.
Beginning this summer on LGBTQ network Revry, 10 drag kings will join King of Drag host, Somebody Somewhere actor, and iconic drag king Murray Hill across a six-episode competition highlighting some of the world’s best drag king performers.
In addition to the 10 drag king contestants joining the series, Hill will welcome a wealth of both permanent and guest judges.

The full-time judging panel includes Drag Race season 9 winner Sasha Velour, Drag Race season 13 and All Stars 9 competitor Gottmik, drag kings Tenderoni and Wang Newton, and Revry CEO Damian Pelliccione. Guest judges include Drag Race All Stars 6 winner Kylie Sonique Love, Drag Race season 4 star Carmen Carrera, actress Lisa Rinna, Bridesmaids director Paul Feig, Tony nominee Cole Escola, Layshia Clarendon, Dragula winner Landon Cider, Vico Ortiz, Liv Hewson, Mo B. Dick, Brian Michael Smith, Jackie Beat, Aubrey Shea, Kathleen Hanna, Cameron Esposito, and Hill’s fellow Somebody Somewhere stars Bridget Everett and Jeff Hiller.
“They’re young and excited,” Hill said of the series at April’s Queerties event. “I said this in the last scene of the TV show: I never imagined that we’d get here and that we’d get greenlit. There’s hope in the darkness.”
“All 10 contestants will represent drag while promoting inclusion, authentic self-expression, and diverse gender identities as part of their acts,” said Pelliccione in a statement. “We can’t wait to give the drag competition format a run for its money with something fresh and original.”
King of Drag premieres June 22 at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT on Revry. Watch the exclusive trailer in the video at the top of this post, and see the season 1 king contestants joining Hill on TV’s first-ever drag king competition series in EW’s exclusive cast portraits below.
