Aaron Taylor-Johnson battles zombies in ’28 Years Later’


Twenty-three years after the first movie in the franchise, 28 Days Later, director Danny Boyle and writer Alex Garland reteam for 28 Years Later, where one of the survivors (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) of the rage virus ventures off his protected, quarantined island onto the mainland, where horrors and secrets about the infected await.

Also in theaters, Disney is taking audiences to space with the animated adventure ElioPitch Perfect stars Rebel Wilson and Anna Camp reunite for the comedy Bride Hard; Marlee Matlin is the focus of the documentary Not Alone Anymore; and A Minecraft Movie is available to stream on Max.

On TV, Carrie Coon, Morgan Spector, Christine Baranski, and company return for a new season of The Gilded Age; the period YA drama The Buccaneers is back for a new installment; Holt McCallany, Maria Bello, Topher Grace, and more star in the drama series The Waterfront; and Phil Rosenthal’s is traveling the world for a new season of his docuseries Somebody Feed Phil.
