Heather Rae El Moussa is celebrating Tarek El Moussa on Father’s Day!

On Sunday, June 15, Heather, 37, penned a loving tribute to her husband Tarek, 43, with whom she shares 2-year-old son Tristan. Tarek also shares daughter Taylor, 14, and son Brayden, 9, with ex Christina Haack.

“Happy Father’s Day to the best dada to Tay, Bray & Tristan,” the Selling Sunset star captioned an Instagram carousel of sweet family snaps. “You show up to protect us with everything you’ve got, every single day for me as a partner and for all three of the babies, and I’m so proud to be doing this wild, but beautiful life with you.”

Heather continued to praise Tarek for his approach to parenting, writing, “It’s rare to parent so universal and parallel like we do. You are fun, always have words of wisdom, and teaching moments. And I’m so thankful to be with someone who constantly wants to work on being a better version of himself for your family and for yourself. When outside noise creeps in remember what really matters in our life.”

She concluded her post by writing, “We all love you so much daddy bear 🐻 🤍.”

The post included several snaps of Tarek with his three kids. The roundup featured the proud dad hugging his teenage daughter at an event, posing with Brayden during a soccer outing and cradling his youngest son while he slept in his arms.

Heather also paid tribute to her father and father-in-law in the post, including snaps of both. Speaking of her own dad, she wrote that he has “shown me what a real man is.”

“You are loyal, honest, loving a protector and you are my best friend,” the reality star continued. “One lifetime won’t be enough with you. I’m so proud of the personal hardships you have overcome for yourself & for your family. You really are the best Papa and I love seeing you with Tristan. I love you so so much!!”

As for her father-in-law, Bill, Heather wrote, “Because of you I have my amazing husband who you taught hard work, discipline & loyalty. I love you very much and I’m thankful to have you as my Father In Law!”

While expanding their family was not something they had in mind when they first started dating, Heather and Tarek quickly grew accustomed to the idea when they found out they were expecting their first child, Tristan.

“When we first started dating three years ago, we went into our relationship not planning on having children together. I really love being a bonus mom to Taylor and Brayden. They’re such incredible kids and I love them so much,” Heather told PEOPLE in July 2022.

“But as your love grows more and more and you fall deeper in love with someone and you build this life together, I started picturing myself having a child with Tarek,” she continued. “I started thinking I just wanted to create something with the man that I’m in love with.”

Tarek told PEOPLE at the time that he is “just obsessed with my kids. They’re my everything, so having another one is just icing on the cake. I’m so excited.”

The couple tied the knot on Oct. 23, 2021, in a ceremony surrounded by friends and family near Santa Barbara, Calif.

While marking their third wedding anniversary in October 2024, Tarek credited his wife for being the “heart of our home, bringing joy and comfort every day.”

“Your unwavering support and understanding make even the toughest moments easier to navigate. You have blessed our life with our beautiful son, Tristan, and are an amazing stepmother to Taylor and Brayden,” he wrote in a message to her on his Instagram Stories at the time.

Most recently, he wrote in an Instagram tribute on Mother’s Day that watching Heather “become a mother to Tristan has been the most beautiful chapter of our journey.”
