Justin Bieber is putting a former friend on blast.
On Sunday, the “Peaches” singer surprised fans by sharing screenshots showing an alleged text exchange between himself and an anonymous friend to Instagram. In them, Bieber ends the “short-lived relationship” and criticizes his contact for their reaction to his anger.
“I will never suppress my emotions for someone,” Bieber wrote in one text. “Conflict is part of relationship. If you don’t like my anger, you don’t like me.”
He added, “My anger is a response to pain I have been thru [sic]. Asking a traumatized person not to be traumatized is simple mean.”

The unnamed friend then responded, “I’m not used to someone lashing out at me. It’s not that I don’t see and feel your anger.”
Replied Bieber, “Ouch. The friendship is officially over. I will never accept a man calling my anger lashing out.”
The singer added that he has other “good friends who will respect these boundaries.”
The exchange then escalated further with Bieber writing, “I thought you were a p—-, which is why I always kept my distance, but I was willing to give you the benefit of the doubt. This confirms you were the p—- I always thought u [sic] were. Please leave me alone now. Blocking u now.”
Bieber later reposted the texts to his Instagram story, with the additional caption, “Quit asking me if I’m okay. Quit asking me how I’m doing. I don’t do that to you because I know how life is for all of us. It’s hard. Let’s encourage our people not to project our insecurities onto one another. Your concern doesn’t come off as care, it’s just oppressive weirdo.”

The singer addressed the drama again on Monday morning, posting white text on a purple background that read, “People keep telling me to heal. Don’t you think if I could have fixed myself I would have already? I know I’m broken. I know I have anger issues. I tried to do the work my whole life to be like the people who told me I needed to be fixed like them. And it just keeps making me more tired and more angry.”
Representatives for Bieber did not immediately respond to Entertainment Weekly‘s request for comment.

Throughout the day he shared various photos of the family together and at one point captioned a solo picture of himself, “I’m a dad that’s not to be fucked with.” Other snapshots of the day see the couple enjoying a romantic staycation and baby Jack showing off his piano skills.
The Biebers first met as kids in 2009 and confirmed they were dating in 2016. They tied the knot two years later and welcomed their first child together in August 2024.
