Michelle Monaghan stuns Jimmy Fallon with NSFW answer during game

Well, that’s certainly one buzzy answer.

Michelle Monaghan effectively sent Jimmy Fallon into a spiral when she shouted out an NSFW answer to a question while playing a game on Wednesday’s episode of The Tonight Show.

The incident occurred during the final round of a game of Tapple, which saw The White Lotus star, late-night host, and Gerard Butler trying to name an item that could typically be found in a nightstand for every letter of the alphabet.

“Uh, uh, uh, vibrator!” Monaghan yelled, slapping the “V” button on the board.

The answer caused Butler to do a double-take before bursting into laughter, adding, “What?!”

An instantly embarrassed Monaghan quickly covered her eyes with her hand as Fallon quietly keeled over in response. He then took a soundless lap around the set to calm himself down before returning to the game.

“Sorry!” Monaghan noted in between laughs. She added, “That’s an automatic win!”

And Fallon was more than happy to roll with that idea rather than having to address the spicy answer that derailed the game. “Yeah, I think it’s — we’re gonna give an automatic win,” he said. “We’re gonna [do that].”

Fallon immediately cut the game there, pronouncing Butler and Monaghan as the segment’s first-ever double winners before collapsing onto the game board.

“Congratulations, oh my God,” he said. “This is a stressful game.”

Monaghan cheekily addressed her response in the pair’s sit-down interview afterward. “Oh my gosh, that was so fun,” she said about the game. “That was a blast. I don’t know how my kids are gonna feel about that, but.”

A laughing Fallon simply responded, “Why not? You’re great.”
