Nara and Lucky Blue announced that they are expecting baby no. 4 with an Instagram post shared on Sunday, June 8, less than one year after they told GQ that they were done having more kids. In a video posted days later, Nara explained that their newest addition was a “surprise baby.”
“I said I was totally done after our last one,” she said in a Q&A-style TikTok posted on June 10, in which she answered questions about her pregnancy. “I guess it was meant to be,” the viral chef added.
She also revealed that she’s about six months pregnant but noted that she “didn’t prerecord any of my videos” prior to the public announcement. “It’s just good angles, outfits and sucking in my stomach,” Nara, 23, explained.

“I waited to share for as long as I feel like I could because I knew that people were going to have all kinds of opinions, and me, personally, I had to get used to the idea as well of having another kid since I mentally prepped to be done after Whimsy,” she continued.
The German-South African influencer also said she her husband — whom she married in February 2020 — already know the gender of their fourth child, though Nara said she’s “probably not going to announce it before the baby is born.”
